State-of-the-art Leica AR 200 portable automatic digital regractometer measures refractive index or % solids as brix over the full range of 1.3300-1.5600 nD and 0-95% Brix. Its 3600 cell linear-scanned array imaging achieves accuracy to ±0.0001 nD or ±0.1% Brix- comparable to most benchtop instruments. Prism temperature sensors and automatic compensations enhances accuracy. Simple to use- choose reading mode, apply sample sufficient to cover the prism surface and press read. Fully automatic reading eliminates operator interpretation.
Optional AR200 software (8045D44) includes single or multi-point (up to 5) calibration, 4 reading modes (nD, temperature compensated nD, Brix, temperature compensated Brix) and adjustable contrast control. An optional IR link-up package lets you take advantage of additional features such as stored data retrieval of up to 225 readings and programming of up to three user-defined channels. Hundreds of custom channels for use in beverage, chemical and agricultural industries are available.
Optics and sensing element are mounted on a fully-sealed, ruggedly constructed, diecast frame in a molded, completely sealed housing that provides maximum environmental protection and chemical resistance.
