The General Purpose K-Type Thermocouple Probe – HI766PE1 is designed to measure the temperature of myriad substances, ranging from liquid to semi-solid to air and gas. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the substance being measured. The HI766PE1 round, pointed tip construction offers a speedy 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900°C (1650°F).
