The stirrer features a solid state control capable of stirring an aqueous solution from 100 to 1500 rpm. The control has an OFF position fully counter-clockwise, and is continuous over 270 degrees of rotation from minimum to maximum speed when turned on. The magnet is a circular disc with twenty pound pull strength and is capable of stirring more than two liters of aqueous solution. The heater control has OFF, LO, and HIGH positions for quick setting, and a smooth infinite control of about 270 degrees between LO and HIGH settings. The control will regulate a set point to ±2.5°C. Control knobs are specially selected to provide easy use and positive, tactile feel. All units are fused, and have a 3-foot long detachable AC line cord with a male plug that matches the local standard. The warranty is 12 months. . |
