InfinityLab Poroshell 120 HILIC columns for hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) are designed for the retention and high-resolution separation of small polar analytes. The superficially porous character of the particles decreases equilibration times to improve throughput for both isocratic and gradient separations. Agilent offers three unique, orthogonal HILIC phases: bare silica (HILIC), polyhydroxy fructan (HILIC-OH5), and zwitterionic (HILIC-Z). The robustness and reproducibility of HILIC separations on Poroshell columns help to switch from challenging, often MS-incompatible ion pair chromatography and normal phase applications.
