Penetration Extended Length K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle

The HI766CL is an extended length penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A green cable extends 1 m (3.3′) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The 310 mm length of the probe helps in the measurement of hard to reach samples; the sharp, pointed tip allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solids and high-temperature samples.

The Penetration Extended Length K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle – HI766CL is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solids and high-temperature samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766CL pointed tip construction offers a 15-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900°C (1650°F).
