Portable refractometer measures refractive index quickly and accurately with fewer errors than traditional methods, even for dark samples. Obtains measurements by placing a drop of sample into the measurement cell or by immersing the sensor directly into the fluid. To help fulfill GLP requirements, date and time of all results are stored along with instrument identification code. Data can be stored, printed or transferred to a PC via the infared interface. Bright backlit display is easy-to-read and can be deactivated. Customized applications eliminate manual calculation for any concentration measurement. Sugar content can be converted from Brix% into °Oechsle, T.A. 1990, °KMW, °Baume, HFCS42 or HFCS55.
