Well-suited to a variety of applications including microfiltration and separation of proteins and nucleic acids. Motor is extremely quiet and generates a minimal amount of heat while running. Brushless design eliminates changing brushes and carbon dust emissions while providing fast acceleration and deceleration of rotor. Ducting system supplies a continuous flow of ambient air to the rotor chamber to keep the rotor cool and to prevent significant rises in sample temperature. Complete and ready to operate unit includes a 18 x 1.5/2.0 mL rotor. Adapters are available for 500, 450, 250 and 200 µL cycling tubes.
