The Wire K-Type Thermocouple Probe – HI766F1 is designed to measure the temperature of hard to reach surfaces that may be difficult to measure with traditional temperature probes. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766F1 exposed wire construction offers a remarkably quick 1-second response for a temperature reading for surfaces up to 480°C (900°F).
