Properties / Key Features
- Polystyrene resin cross-linked with divinylbenzene
- Higher background hydrophobicity compared to silica phases
- Available particle sizes 5 μm and 8 μm; pore sizes 100 Å and 300 Å
- pH working range 1–13, max. working pressure 180 bar
Eluent in column: acetonitrile – water
Recommended application
- For biochemical application
- Small pore columns for reversed phase separation of small molecules such as pharmaceuticals with basic properties, e.g., organic heterocycles; also suited for separation of nucleosides and nucleotides up to 5000 daltons; allow gradient as well as isocratic elution
- Wide pore columns especially recommended for large biomolecules (proteins, peptides etc.)
