A special C18 phase that is recommended for the separation of polar compounds thatrequire high aqueous mobile phase conditions. Hydrophilic endcapping keeps theC18 chains fully extended into the mobilephase, even when using aqueous mobile phases with no organic modifier. The result is better retention and reproducibility than can be achieved with typical C18 phases when using mobile phases with less than 10% organic modifier.
